This is the sporty EVO by Compaq with a writable/re-writable CD ROM. This is not a slow computer, it's a Pentium 4 with a large 20GB stock harddrive, Microsoft office is installed with all the bells and whistles that come with it. This system can get online by any means including cable, DSL, Satellite, phone line, and wireless. There are speakers built-into this unit but has jacks for external system (located on front AND in the back). There are several USB ports in front and back. The video is excellent and you have the choice of more than a dozen monitors, keyboards, and mice to choose from to complete the transfer to your home. The processor is a whopping 1.8GHz and although this is being sold with 512MB ram it had 2GB of ram before we sold it separately...if you have more ram, a larger harddrive, any cards or peripherals, I'll install them free of charge.
